Meet STARR-E

STARR-E aka D'Representer doesn't only entertain with his music, but also churns out words that breathe, lyrics that help the listener live exceptionally. His stage name STARR-E is an acronym for STANDING TALL REFUSING RETARDATION – ERIC and was inspired by his struggles in the past where on several occasions he had been denied the means to support himself and his music career. 

STARR-E’s passion for music started at age of 13 and his musical influence spans numerous genres. For years he stayed underground recording several demos of rap free-styles and gradually improving on his talent while waiting for that moment when he will be able to have his own songs produced by himself. He officially launched his music career in January 2013 when he dropped two hot singles titled ‘Party On’ and ‘God’s Time Is The Best’ which are both getting massive rotations on radio, clubs and on the streets by DJs.

STARR-E’s style of music is what he describes as Hardcore and Crunk rap. He switches styles in his delivery. Sometimes he flows fast and other times slow and with different emotions behind his delivery depending on the song. He inculcates clever rhymes and some element of figures of speech in his lyrics.  STARR-E is hoping to release an EP by end of 2016.

An erudite scholar, STARR-E attends series of seminars, reads widely and researches extensively to improve his writing and reading skills. He believes in excellence and frowns on mediocrity of any kind.
